Little Roy
The legend that is the veteran roots artist Little Roy has found a home at Pharos Records which is headed by London based
producer and sound engineer, Pan Lemos. With the release of his critically well received album, ‘Children of the Most High’ in 2006,
Little Roy joined a label that defines itself by the quality of its music, showcased by ‘the significant talents of Kenton Fish Brown,
Black Steel, Sowell Bailey, Horseman and Bubblers.’ (Greg Whitfield aka Prof Barnabas @ reggae-vibes.com – Review of

With the backing of a house band made up of such star quality, Little Roy also joined the
likes of fellow reggae greats like Fred Locks, Earl 16 and Gregory Issacs to feature on the inaugural roots compilation album ‘Pharos Frontline’.
2006 also marked Little Roy’s entry into the UK mainstream dance charts as a remixed version of his single ‘Stay a Little Bit Longer’ put out
by Pharos Records, reached No 5 in the UK National Club Charts.
“2011 sees a new Little Roy album, soon to be released on the Pharos label on March 21st.
‘Heat’ is already being hailed as a work produced with care and devotion and thus the music has class stamped all over.”
